Sexual Harassment Education
Know the laws in your state. Be prepared, and make sure your staff is well trained.
Colorado: As stated in the Code of Colorado Regulations, Rule 20.6, employers are encouraged to take all necessary steps to prevent discrimination and harassment from occurring in the workplace.
Texas: Texas Employment Discrimination Laws require all state employers and employees to attend and complete sexual harassment training within 30 days of employment, and additional sexual harassment training every two years of continued employment.
Arizona: Sexual harassment training in the workplace is highly recommended. In Arizona Title XII governs companies with more than 15 employees.
